This is to inform that Students have
proceeded for Winter Vacations (10-Dec-2024 to 28-Feb-2025), as such, we wish all our kids and their
families a happy Winter Break.
The School is likely to share the Syllabus
and Winter Assignments and the Learning Resources of different subjects in the
forthcoming days. The students are required to go through the Winter
Assignments and books thoroughly to be prepared for Weekly Oral Presentations
(dates to be shared separately).
Winter Vacation is an opportunity to spend
quality time together and students look forward to the many pleasures that winter
brings. Let our children take the lead and use imagination, creativity, and
knowledge to do developmental tasks. The role of the parents is to be a
facilitator and a guide to steer the child in the right direction, however, the
original work of students will receive greater recognition and appreciation.
Also, we wish to
re-emphasize to make this period a fruitful and happy period; here are some
tips
a) Encourage
and ensure the child greets everyone with Salaam / wishes Good Morning and Good
Night to everybody.
b)
Encourage and ensure the child prays every
day. Recites (holy books) and learns Duas.
c)
Encourage the child to keep the
surroundings clean by throwing the waste in the dustbins to inculcate respect
and care for the environment.
d)
Speak to your child every day. Tell him/her
why he/she is special to you and to each member of the family. Speak to the
child about good behavior and show appreciation.
e)
Encourage the child to talk respectfully
with everyone. Use words like Thank You, Please, May I, Can I, Excuse me,
Sorry, etc.
f)
Encourage the child to do tasks like
cleaning the Study Table/Area, Toy area, and Sports Equipment daily and helping
with household chores.
g)
Encourage the child to use water wisely and
put on the tap when required.
h) Read Story
books to your child as well as narrate stories of your childhood and watch
educational and meaningful programs only. Do try to reduce screen time.
Happy Holidays!
Warm Regards
